Heading down to Florida sunday morn to pillage

But - not staying on the beach
my GF got a house for 5 days from friend who inherited it
Id rather have paid for hotel on the beach ...buuut
and the tides suck ...but only time she could get off right now ...sooo
will try and make the best of it - not getting my hopes up
but hoping to get something to show

What part of Florida Casper? I was just at stuart beach for 3 hours tonight from 9 pm to 12 and got three hits total 2 pull tabs and a penny..lol. all dry sand however the water was way to choppy for me to get in.

Tides arent bad for morning hunts...... but the winds maybe an issue.... depending on which way they want to change and push those swells.

Casper has been know to make any hunt LUCKY. I hear tell some finds have been showing up lately...heavy gold necklace and rings. May the ring of gold be in Casper's ears and its glitter in his scoop. If for nothing else than for us to have something to look at.
grey95chevyboy : I don't know how we did it but my last 3 hour walk in the water and found 2 pull tabs and a penny also. Maybe Casper has the right idea. Might be better to head for California or Alaska to get some nuggets.

Some how we have to get all this sand to go out to sea or at least a quarter mile off shore. Lets see the rocks again.

last hunt with you -i put us both on gold and we worked hard for the little we got - but we both got gold

I dont think i'll be getting in as much swinging as i'd like - but will still be treasure hunting - heading out to look for shark teeth and shells and hopefully may get some swinging in later

How do you manage to recover anything when it's that rough in the trough?

Over here on the west coast when it's rough like that the trough has been liquid sand.. seeming almost endlessly deep, and full of aluminum.
