Heading to Westerville!!

Hi,
I am going to be going to a school for two weeks in Westerville (Feb25 through Mar-7) and will have a weekend off.
Where would be a good place to look around where I won't be arrested or axe murdered?
And do I need a snow plow?
Someone posted a link to HTTP://maps.live.com and I have looked the area over in birdseye view, it looks great, lots of parks and fields, I just don't want to get into trouble with any city/state agencies.
