Are the headphones that come standard with the CTX 3030 waterproof?

No they are not waterproof, though I do use mine in misty weather.

I bought a pair of SuperblueS from the UK, and the guy claims that you can use them in the rain but not underwater.

Too be honest I've only used them once, so the jury is still out on how good they are?

I bought a Gray Ghost headphones for the CTX 3030 and they work well in water and are water proof. But you can't use the wireless headphone unit in the water.
Also, would suggest NOT using 17" coil in water - the drag is significant and even though I can swing the CTX w 17" coil all day (6-8hrs) on land, in the water I'm lucky to swing it for 10-15 minutes before switching arms.
