hello , i got my AT pro a couple weeks ago , learning its language went to one of my honey holes and popped yhis out of the ground...just shows you ...no matter where your at you never know what kinda coin your gonna pull.......it wasnt the large cent i thought it was at first ...actually is a large cent.. just not THE LARGE CENT lol 1918 great britain penny

Thank you nscrcr8Z, your comments give me a clearer understanding of your choices. I've also heard some great comments about the AT Pro and being at the manufacturing site would be tough to not do something! I mean after all, we love new toys. Nice assortment of finds, nice dates on the coins and the other machines left them and the key in the ground. Don't that beat all, who'd a figured theyd be there.

My 6000D spoiled me as well! I learned from instructions I purchased how to super tune it. Once this was done when I was out with it there would be a few spins of dials and flips of switches and I knew what was in the ground before I dug it, what metal type it was that is. I never have had the same friendly feeling towards my XLT but I want to have it so that's why I just purchased the 4 x 6 DD. Now with the entire assortment of coils, except for the big one, I know I have quite an arsenal to work with.

The 6000 D found my first silver coins, silver ring, gold tooth crown and my first Gold ring. Also lots of nickels, dimes, quarters and of course some junk. Why did folks ever invent brass sprinkler heads? Keep on having fun. My original 6000 D was stolen one summer along with the car it was in. I missed it so much that even after I'd purchased the XLT I found the 6000 on ebay and bought it just in case..........63bkpkr
