Heart pendant

Found this in a park today, it is an older park a, to me this looks Victorian, anyone have any thoughts or knowledge? Top to bottom it's about the size of a small cent.

That's a nice find ! I think it's pretty modern though based on the .925 (rather than Sterling designation ) and while the marcasites
are indeed a nod to an earlier time (1910 /20's ) the style of the flat black heart is really a more modern touch . It may well be resin
not onyx or stone . Obviously these are my remote opinions based on a couple of pictures - and it is a very nice find even if modern !

The 925 is the killer... indicates that it was made more recently.

I have a ring that looks a lot like that. Marcasite is the name of the little dark shiny "stones" that are mounted around the black heart.

A really nice find. Congrats!
