Hard to say. The base is very thin and not sure if by design or damage. It has a Kirk look but almost looks too small-no? It's very thin too. It has similar traits as a jacks reef point but does look a lot like Kirk. Any small, thin kirks from Illinois out there ?
 

Nice find. Looks like an archaic corner notch. Certainly could be Kirk or Kirk related or maybe a little later into the Archaic period. Go back and find some more!
 

Thanks. Corner notches are so interesting. They seem to span several cultures. I still have a hard time telling an archaic from more modern corner notches :(
 

Here are two kirks from Illinois that I recently had ID'd be an archaeologist.
