I believe this is a heating element, but, I'm not sure what it came from. At first I thought it might be a block heater for an engine, but, after a bit of cleaning, I exposed threads which seem to nix that idea. The hex shaped fitting and phillips head screws are steel, the rest is copper. I would imagine the tubes came out straight when it was new. Any ideas as to what it fit and approximate age? It was found in a salt water bay.
