Hecla Junction, CO camp

Along the Arkansas River between Buena Vista and Poncha Springs. A major launch point for rafters down Brown's Canyon. We're about 2 weeks behind in the spring melt. Lots of mining in this area, for....iron. Major iron source of Colorado. Nice night, and NO SNOW down here.

That last one's the very end of the day, HCW, I spent all day hikin up in them canyons, so I'm pretty wore out. Bring it on hammered, I'll provide you with a bedroll. Or if you prefer, I'll bring the tent and the air mattress, which is the only way Maria will go campin with me.

A bedroll is fine , maybe a shotgun for the rattlers and stuff. I like the outdoors and the night sky, my only regret would be not taking my telescope
