Went to a 1790 house permission today for about an hour and a half. Didnt find much the first time I went but I was certain there were some items to be found. There is a massive foundation for the carriage house but it is so loaded with iron i cant hear much. Theres a couple wells on the property and the house has a lot of history including being a brothel at one point and the ambassador of china's home at another point. Also has a clay tennis court from the 1930s that is covered with grass at the moment.

Dug these relics including my first heel plate and the 1846 Braided LC that I personalized with my digging too :BangHead::BangHead:

Those are some great finds and it sounds like a great spot to hunt. Should be lots of great stuff there.
Good luck!

The heel plate and large cent are nice, but I really like the complete knee buckle!

Well you've got one now. Congrats! BTW the heel plate with the cross is a less common design than the clover or the heart.

Looks like an excellent hunt to me.
Congrats on all your finds,, especially your first heel plate.

Not sure which piece your referring to as a ccr but there are 2 brass buckles with iron tongues on the left.

I couldnt find any examples of the cross style so im inclined to agree with your comment. The heel plate and knee buckle are both firsts for me.

Very nice - congrats on a very successful relic and coin hunt! Looks like there's likely more to be found there!
