and so I wanted to say hello. I said to myself, its about time to finally join this forum after lurking here for so long. 
I've been into the hobby since about 1980, mostly Beach & Surf hunting and Scuba hunting with a history of family maritime and military heritage. There's been a couple interludes for a few years in between here and there away from the hobby, but its been a great life long rewarding and fun hobby that sometimes has been much more than just a fun hobby and pastime. I've hunted from upstate NY where I live down the eastern seaboard to the coast of NC to the southern coast of FL, and also study Spainish shipwreck history in the northern hemisphere when I get the time to read my library.
I think I'm in a good place here with greaty fellow members, and I'm glad to have finally joined!
