Hello Everyone! New member out of Fort Worth, TX.

Hi everyone! I am new to metal detecting. I started about 2 weeks ago. My dad used to detect about 4 years ago, and when i was in CO visiting my family, i borrowed my dads Bounty Hunter. I sat on it for about a year before i finally decided to use it, and im super glad I did! After that first day it has been like an addiction! I cant wait until the next time I go out and hunt. I am in the Navy, that is what brought me to TX. For the past couple weeks i Have been detecting Lake Worth on base. I was blessed in this short time of hunting in finding a 1905 indian head penny, and a 1936 Buffalo 5 cent! I have been using this Bounty Hunter IV, but now i am looking to upgrade my detector to something that is good for a newbie, any recommendations are welcome! Also, if anyone is in the Fort Worth area and needs a partner to hunt with that'd be awesome!
