Hello from Arizona

Hello everyone! New to metal detecting and plan to expand out to other prospecting techniques in due time. I spend my free time in the desert and mountains and decided it wouldn't hurt to carry a couple pans and a detector with me. So I bought a Gold Monster 1000 last week and really, really enjoy using it. I know very little about prospecting and excited to read the pages here. My other hobbies include exploring Arizona in my Subaru Outback, adventure motorcycling and exploring abandoned structures and mines.

If anyone wants to take a newb out prospecting with them let me know. North Phoenix area here but I love to travel. I'm 43, active, super laid back and get along with pretty much anyone. Thanks! Tim

Welcome from an Arizonan in New York! Check out Bill Southern, a NuggetShooter in Morristown. Also look into jining the GPAA, and Roadrunner prospecting clubs. Both have good claims out by Lake Pleasant, and Rich Hill (Stanton). Have Fun!
