Hello everyone !
I'm Andrew from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
I'm a 50 year old High School Tech Teacher and love everything Tech related. I recently bought a Minelab Equinox 800 and am slowly getting used to it, but previously used an X-Terra 705 that I will still use (mostly because I have multiple coils for it). I usually hunt the sandy playgrounds in my area cleaning up garbage in the sand so the kiddies don't hurt themselves and have recently started hitting the beaches of Wasaga (where we have a cottage). The Equinox 800 is waterproof so I plan on hunting the first 10 feet of water. Lot's of small coin find, TONS of garbage, some shell casings, but so far nothing of any monetary value.
Every find has some value to me, my favorite being a 1975 Canadian penny. It was my first coin I found with a metal detector.
I'm always up for a hunt, so if your in the area, give me a ping !
Have a wonderous day hunting !
Andrew
