Hello from Colorado

I was first introduced to metal detecting back in the 80’s, when I was stationed in Italy, in the USAF. I would go with my boss, to get off the base. I did not have a detector then, and I am researching my first one now. The first time I went out in Italy we found an 1860 Toronto Italy coin. The very next coin had Augusts Caesar on it, WOW was I blown away. Over the couple of years that I spent hunting with my friend I experienced some cool finds. I myself found a Roman silver coin. My boss let me try his detector when he was taking a smoke break. This was my first hit ever, I think he was a little jealous, but happy for me. The silver coin is very small and has Hercules fighting Nemean the lion. This will probably be my best find ever, and I have not even got started yet. I am looking forward to starting my new adventure, with you guys.
