New to the metal detecting, although have been watching videos on YouTube for years. I’m swinging a Fisher F75 SE and enjoying it. Love history especially colonial history and always wanted to get into this hobby. Got both my young boys detectors so we can explore the outdoors and have some bonding time together. So far found some cool items around my yard but looking forward to exploring some old farms, forests, and home sites.
Good to be a part of this forum and hobby.

Welcome to T-Net! Connecticut is a very historic state, I'm sure you will find a lot in your detecting adventures! I detected a bit in CT a few years ago on some family property and made some nice discoveries. If you are into colonial history there is a bunch around waiting to be found! Be sure to keep us updated with your finds!

Welcome, wish I was into metal detecting when I lived there, miss it sometimes. Not the taxes or cost of living though😉
