Hello from East Texas

I am renovating a 125 year old house and so far all I have found is old car parts and square nails. I have a Tesoro Discriminator but it only discriminates between dirt and metal of any kind so I spend a lot of time digging. :-) East Texas has an old Confederate training ground but all of it is on private land. I am enjoying myself but I need to get a better detector. I don't mind finding junk pieces. They go good with my old house.
