Hello from Maryland!

After lurking here for a few years, I finally signed up last summer after meeting RJ55 and talking about the forum while doing some beach detecting in Topsail Island, NC. Since I never made a post here, I figured I would say hello before asking for advice or whatever. I have added a couple new accessories to my MD kit and am ready for some spring weather to get back at it here in Western/Central Maryland. I have been messing around detecting off and on for a long time, but am trying to get more serious about it and in the process have learned a lot just from reading here and other online resources. Currently I am researching my area's rich Civil War history and looking for promising spots to relic hunt (with permission). I have the bug and look forward to viewing more finds and hopefully posting a few of my own this year! Here's to spring and happy hunting!
