Hi
I have a big collection of Lake Superior agates, semi-precious stones and am very interested in hunting meteorites.
Can't wait to start posting pictures of my collection!
I am starting out in meteorite hunting and wondering what do I need to start out with? I know Minnesota isn't the ideal place to hunt for them but is there a way around it? I think there are some empty fields around here where I can start looking? A friend of mine had permission to rock hunt at this local gravel pit and has found some metallic looking rocks - he makes a good case as to why he thinks they are meteorites...it sounds quite possible that they could very well be but I'm on the fence post on this subject.
Cheers,
Kelly
