Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Greetings All,

I've been detecting about 3 years now. I've been interested in it for many years just never took the plunge. Always been a big history and military buff. A new buddy on the job let me borrow one of his old detectors and the first time out (got lucky) found an old pin/broach with couple diamonds in it, been hooked ever since.

Graduated up to a Garrett AT Pro and did even better. Found several large cents, Few Indians, Mercs etc. Just purchased Minelab Equinox 800 and I'm just hoping to pick up a few tips. The 800 has been a bit confusing but I'm starting to figure it out, some.

Looking forward to learning all I can

Welcome to T Net from Michigan and welcome to the metal detecting hobby! You have done well and don't be afraid to dig those pulltab signals because eventually, you will find some Gold!

Thanks and yes I've became quite familiar with pull tabs and the little juice caps, uggh ! I found an 18k gold wedding band sorta on accident this spring with the AT Pro. I've got bad case of gold fever, lol.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon, and congratulations on the finds you have made so far!

Welcome from San Jose, CA! I don't own a Nox, but if it's anything like my Tarsacci, it will take time to learn it. Review the owner's manual and check out some YouTube videos to get some tips. Happy hunting!

Every detector takes time to get the swing of. Congrats on your previous finds and welcome from Texas

Welcome Aboard! Take a look at Forum:Ohio for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome to TreasureNet. Good luck!

Dig it all !! (even after you know your detector like the back of your hand). Many a good relics are passed up, because the hobbyist hears that dreaded low tone, and won't dig.

Welcome to the forum! :icon_thumleft:

You've found a great place for information and fellow treasure hunters of all kinds -- welcome aboard mate! :occasion14:
