Hello from Scotland just bought a old Viking 6D never used a md before dying to try any tips to stop me looking like a complete idiot ! Cheers

Air test the machine with what you hope to find. Study how to ground balance the md. At first with any new md I dig anything repeatable in two directions. You can also try watching guys use the machine on U tube. Good luck
