A little late on the intro. Hello from Ca.

Avid hunter, spear fisherman, parachutist, diver, and now hooked on gold prospecting.
I haven’t had huge luck. About 8 it so outings and I haven’t even collected a gram yet. But I have got a few pickets sniping and sluicing the American. I have basic tools, a gold hog sluice, and a new minelab 705 showing up in a few days. Hoping I’m a bit more productive with that as I feel like I’m too late for most of the placer gold.

Greetings from Sutter Creek. I just got a 705 but have not tried any nugget shooting yet. I think the Clamith is a good gold area. Good time of year to hunt for gold as these storms always carries new gold that washes down from deposits.
