I found this site while being laid up for the past week and I want to tell you all how much I have appreciated the entertaining pictures, videos and member discussions that I've read so far.

I bought a cheap metal detector, over a decade ago, to use for family entertainment. My kids and I enjoyed using it and I'm not sure why we stopped, other than the kids getting older.

I've learned so much from the different forums and so much more to learn. Banner finds, Civil war, latest finds, ebay, thrift stores, dumpsters, bottles and so on. What an amazing cache of information and collective knowledge!

I've read the forum rules and I'll try to always be a member in good standing.
