Hello new member here

Hi all,I'm a new member and to the hobbie. My kids bought me a discovery 2200 for Christmas. I've always wanted to have one to get into the hobby and I'm always losing my keys and other items so it wil come in handy regardless of treasure I may or may not come across. Although it will be awhile before I can really try it out as I live in winnipeg and winter is in full swing. I did try it out in the yard and found a bolt I lost from the snow blower a month ago so it's already paying out lol.

Welcome. Winter is a good time to research and get permissions, but it makes you want to get out that much more. Have fun, and be sure to show your finds on here when they come.

Thanks guys,I'll sure look into finding some hunting grounds. I have a few friends who have old farm lands I could look around on I'm sure. I'll be sure to post pics if I find anything of interest.
