Just joined up yesterday, although new at prospecting, my expertize is in utility helicopter flying. Prior to being illegal for a time, I've flown in many suction dredges and equipment for gold miners and prospectors in California. I've been flying for the past 30 years and have about 20,000 hours of flight time in a helicopter. And now that I have taken up a little prospecting on my own the past few years and just discovered this website, I thought I might be able to be in a position to offer advice to miners and prospectors now in the of use of helicopters if they are utilized to support their efforts, costs and external load or slinging applications as it pertains to flying in equipment. So, what Im offering is help to anyone out there with an opinion, if they are thinking about using a helicopter in their mining or prospecting ventures. It is expensive, but I can give advice on ways to reduce costs, etc. Since Im new to this website and not very computer smart, I'll do the best I can to get back to anyone that has a question.
