Help bullet found hunting with nephews

I spent the afternoon hunting with my nephews in a spot I figured didn't have much, and we found this bullet I have never seen. It looks like a new bullet but the inside looks filled with something white like an old civil war lead bullet but the bullet looks copper. Please look and see if you can figure out.

It is a 20th Century "copper-jacketed" lead bullet. You may have heard of the movie titled "Full Metal Jacket" -- which is the military term for bullets like yours. You did not tell us your bullet's size, but comparing it with your thumbnail in the photo, it appears to be a .45-caliber ACP bullet, originally made for use in .45 Colt Auto pistols, and .45 Thompson ("Tommy-Gun") submachine guns.

From the fingers I'd say a .32 ACP bullet.
