Relic Hunting
We go treasure hunting about 3 times a week, I always walk slow... Sometimes he returns from his walk and I'm only 15 feet from the Side- by-Side. I do beading with seed beads so I consider myself to have a sharp eye. I've been finding beads, buttons and other things... Found this a couple of days ago... Am I seeing things or is there work on this piece? I really don't want to be committed to a nut house... Lol thanks

Wow! Nice rock.
Thats all I see...

There is some nice work of nature in that rock, but nothing native american.

It doesn't look like a bead to me but I would be interested in what type of stone it is if I had found it. Post it in the gem, rock section of the forum and see if anyone knows what type stone it is. When I hunt for artifacts once in a while I find a gemstone or "fancy" stone and have a dish I put them in for decor I love them so much. Usually it's crystals, garnets and unakite so I'm curious what yours is if you can find out.

Thanks for the advice. I will do that. I have been fascinated with pebbles, rocks, stones... Basically "Shiny (unique)" Nature's wonderland, I have a spot in my garden for all these items (if their not beaded or wirewrapped within a week, lol) I do have other items I'd like to know about but am just not sure which forum to post in :what:

Yes. You need therapy..... but so do all of the rest of us.

Natural but has some nice lines in that rock to create the look it has.

It's a rock but I have seen some of the most beautiful thunder eggs come out of that area.
