Hello everyone!!!,
I found this a few yrs. ago and have just recently "found" it again while looking through my junk...It is obvious on what it read's but i'm wondering what kind of Gun/Artillery this could have been on!??! And do the #'s on back help with I.D.,Also could it be a fantasy peice??

The back would be a part number. My total guess would be it's for a WWI or before.

I put the plate in - verbatim - to Google and had several hits for cannon of 1890 to 1906. And, interestingly, whaling harpoon guns!

The back is a part number as well as a revision to the document that goes with its manufacture I think.
