HELP I.D.(pilot?)AVIATION WINGS...

Hello everybody!,
I recenty got these wings and can not i.d. them,I'm not even try and guess as i am far from a military,etc.expert.So i hope i can get some help here(i'm pretty sure i will!),I'm not sure what is inside the diamond on back,Kinda look's like an F but not pos.
Approx.3 1/4 in. across(breast badge),17.8 g. and it looks a little duller then pictures,nice mellow patina.Any help,info,lead,etc. will be greatly appreciated.HH ALL!!!
p.s. obviously no pin/attachment on reverse.

Those are Technical Observer Wings. Possibly WW2 era. G1 might be newer. This site should help ya with further ID.
