✅ SOLVED Help ID brass oval object

[67GTA]

Hunting early to mid 1800's homestead. Found several flat buttons and pre civil war relics prior to this hunt. Just pulled this out this morning. It was pretty quite (almost hunted out) and this signal scared me when it blasted in my headphones LOL.

Sorry, I got excited and forgot to include them. 3.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1/4 inch thick. Hard to tell from above pics, but it has a slight curve to it.

I think your right. It looks very similar to civil war officer stirrups. Surely not...
