I found a bunch of silver coins in my grandparents basement most of them were familiar enough, but these two I'm unsure of. The first I believe is a Morgan silver dollar, the second I've never seen, the face reads UNITED STATES OF AMERICA COLUMBIAN HALF DOLLAR and the back reads WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO 1492-1893 anyone ever come across one of these, and dose it have any value?

That is Exactly what it is. A COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION Half Dollar. the Obverse Shows Columbus, & the Reverse his Flagship, The Santa Maria. they were sold for $1.00 apice at the World's Columbian EXPO in Chicago in 1893 . the ones not sold at the Expo, ended up in Circulation at face value. the '92 is worth about $16.00 in AU & the 1893 about $15.00.

Jeff thanks!!, I stupidly forgot to attach the picture but thanks again, Ken

Your Other Coin IS a MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR. I can't see the Date, or IF there is a mint mark under the Eagles tail tho

Sorry about the picture ($20.00 camera) it's an 1891 and I don't see a mint mark anyware

I'd say it would Value at around $14.00, maby a little more, depending on the person looking at it. I always Liked The MORGAN DOLLARS don't know why tho? :P anyway NICE FINDS & HH ; Jeff Morgan
