Help id makers name on Texas belt buckle

I believe this is a copper belt buckle . I cannot identify makers mark. Can someone help me ?

My guess is that it’s a small artisan who made a run of 150 buckles that were sold at local shops or shows.

no idea about the maker name, but rather than copper I would suspect it is bronze

As mentioned above, it looks like a limited edition piece 13 of 150, crafted by that person in 1985.

I think the 1985 is a clue....lol

It seems to be made by a private individual who may have just made them for a hobby and sold them or gave them away. Still a nice find.

First things first...Welcome!
Second, great find. Looks to be as mentioned before, a limited casting of a local design.
Lastly, as far as metallurgy, there are several methods to find out if it is Bronze, Copper, or a "pot metal" wash. The internet is your friend, and can also be your friend as far as how much you want to invest to find out. Magnets are one way...a cheap way to get some clarity as to the content.

Regardless, that is an unusual and unique find....nicely done!
