Help ID Two Buckles

The larger buckle is in two pieces and I'm not sure how it goes together. Any info on type, time frame, and use would be appreciated! Thanks

I'm not sure that buckles are a strong point on here anymore, but hopefully somebody will chime in and shed some light on yours.

The first one is a shoe buckle likely from the 1700's. C & D Jarnagin Company How to put buckle on 18th century shoes

The next one appears to be a suspender buckle probably mid to late 1800's.

Goldiver is right about the shoe buckle however I think that the second buckle may be a neck stock buckle from the same time period. Do a google search on neck stock buckles and you will see what I'm talking about.

I would agree that both buckles are pre-1800. Here's a great link that I use to ID buckles. Your first buckle is on page 103 and the stock buckles are on page 122.
