Help Identify the mark on a deco Mermaid vase

This vase measures 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. It is hand thrown with a mark on the base that I can't decipher. Any help would be really appreciated. The number 33 is seen on the bottom.

Sage, could be that what you might have there is an ashes urn.

There are fish in the symbol on the bottom, and there is a fish
motif glazed on the vase/urn. Neptune society?
