Help identify this coin. Medieval?

Found this in a field in western Bavaria. I'm not even sure it's a coin but I think so. My friend said he thinks it's medieval, hence the hole, as they would sew their coins into their clothes in case they got robbed, or put them on a string. The cross is interesting anyway. Thanks for any input.

Doesn't look hammered, so, it may not be as old as you think. Cool find though! :icon_thumleft: The eagle looks German to me. Germany made so many different coins through the years, it would take a while to find the exact one. With the cross on one side, it may be a religious piece.

Yeah I also wasn't sure. It dosnt have a year on it so I was sceptical as well.
 

Looks like a 1700s token to me. As said, not easy to find a match.
 

German, Austrian or Austro-Hungarian. I have not ID mine yet!

its not the same coin but that kind of eagle looks similar.
 

holy roman empire era ? with cross and heraldic eagle --Germanic type of coinage
