Help Identifying Old Bottle

I found this bottle buried in the mud in a creek on my property. It is 8" tall and about 4" wide at the base. There are no markings on it that I can find, and it is somewhat misshapen. Does anybody know what it is?
 

Looks like a whiskey to me. Curved so it would fit right up against your body/leg. Jgas.
 

I would start searching the banks upstream from where you found it .If necessary wade in the water and look for broken glass If you do not find anything the first time go back at a different time of day of when it is cloudy .I find that the amount of light or angle of light makes a difference is seeing things.It was not unusual for dumps to be located along stream banks .There is a good chance there is a lot more bottles some where nearby . Nice find
 

Agree, a whiskey not too terribly old.....keep lookin
 

Boy that sure looks like Brown Forman bottoms up whiskey .. they usually stamped something somewhere... Id look into there history..
