Help identifying writing on charm and coin

Got these two necklaces at an estate sale was wondering if anybody can identify the writing or what type of coin it is thank you

The coin is a Moroccan Rial. They go by the Arabic calendar so add about 620 to the coins "date" and you get a coin from the early 1900s

The other piece looks a bit like a mezuzah - I recently found a piece that was 14k gold with a scroll inside. Here is the wiki:
