Help IDing Gold Gilt button from 1700's site

I started cleaning this button, it started coming off pretty good on back there is nothing discernible on front so far.
Backmarks read "warranted standard E&B" and I believe "orange- treble" I'm not sure if it reads "treble" the shank is in the way.

Thanks for any help guys, I found this at that historical site in Phila.

Please disregard the pix of the tin, I somehow loaded them by mistake and cannot figure out how to take them off

Thanks for the reply, I did come up with that same thread when I was Googleing yesterday. There is a pretty extensive book on old buttons that someone recommended to me last year( cannot remember name of it) it cost about 100.00 and I cheeped out and didn't buy it. It is by far the nicest button I have found so far. The pix do it no justice.
