Helped clean out father inlaws junk garage and came upon these coins. He said didn't remember where he got them. Kinda curious about a couple.
this one appears to be a stamped or hammered, well not machined....

0530002359(0001).webp

0531000000.webp

this one has a hole in it. Was wondering if it is supposed to???

0531000004.webp

0531000005.webp

RF = République française. French. 10 Centimes. Hole is normal.

Other possibly Algerian? :dontknow:

The first one appears to have a star and crescent that is a common symbol of Turkey.
Hope this helps.

Best Wishes,
Scott

max 200 yrs and it is one of first milled coins i think with simple hand machines (not hammered)...isn't Algerian or any N African coin( ottoman empire) but more likely some Indian state (or close to India) but i cannot find it maybe because it is some kind of token or temple token still not sure after all this time..had same one and gave me many headaches!
