I missed 3 others that went through, but managed to plow to open water and on to the far shore.
This one was getting out, and was quite upset that her mother made it.
Spring is knocking on the door. This was around 1000 ft out from our home.

I don't much care to see an animal suffer. Though I have a respect for the course of nature.
No worries about the Pepper getting wet especially in those waters.

That's a sad event of the neighbour trying to save the calf.
It would be a hard thing to not try to save it either.
