Help...Metal Detecting in Central MA

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to go metal detecting in Central MA or has treasure leads. I have a Whites Prizm II which I love. Currently I'm metal detecting at an 1800 Farm house with 3 large fields. I found my first Mercury Dime, a bunch of pennies and 3 dog tags. I live in a town founded in 1700's, but must of the places are prvt property and when I ask to detect, people usually say NO . If anyone knows of any spots/old places I would greatly appreciate it . Thank you so much! (I just want to get out and metal detect somewhere new.)

Finds sections of woods, Iv had good luck in them

Thanks, would cellar holes be good to detect? I alread y know where a few are, and if I do how should I go about detecting them. Becuase i heard that junk piles up inside of them. Thanks again for the reply.

if u go in cellars i wouldnt go it alone could be dangours at least bring a cell phone
