Help! My Minelab Sovereign Elite Digital ID is acting up, I think...

So I go to turn on my Minelab and recalibtrate it on a quarter and the Digital ID meter shows "-1" and wont bounce around from target to target. Theres a knob on the back you use to fine tune the blasted thing, but it wont do anything now. If I turn it off and on again it will work fine for a sec or 2 and then go back to neg 1.
What the hell? Any Ideas? I cleaned and checked all the wires, dry lubed the sockets and looked for nicks and damage in the cables....so what now?

It is on the fritz and needs repair. Call Minelab to see about sending it in. Mine won't do this and yours shouldn't either. Since you've done everything else, there is nothing left.
