Help Needed With A Chinese Ring

Here's a solid silver ring I found in central Mississippi. Lots of civil war relics at the plantation site where this was found. How old of a ring is this
And what do these Chinese characters mean? The deciphering of these characters may help me determine better what I have.
I believe the last 2 characters stand for "Good" and "Child". Can anyone offer assistance on this one? Thanks!

I'm thinking about taking it to a jeweler and getting it fixed so I can wear it.....I'll certainly wear it relic hunting and see if any more good luck somes my way..!

It appears these rings were adjustable and that probably why it is broken, it got bent too many times!
