Hello,
I found this many yrs.ago while md'ing with dad in the mid 60's and have not found the maker nor age(it's at least 53yrs old now my age ha ha),Not really age but when made.
I've looked at my 4 book's on toy soldiers both U.S and foreign made, seen other book's&reference at library's,etc.Any help will be greatly appreciated...
Made of lead,seem's to have had a black paint,grey metal(as lead is...)no marking's except A.LINCOLN at base. :icon_thumright:, :read2:

TH, Your A. Lincoln is known as a Semi-Flat lead figure/soldier. This type was generally made in Germany, but some were also made in England. Yours looks unpainted.

Here are a few soldiers on Ebay:

Nice find, Breezie
:icon_thumright:,I always welcome input, advice, etc.,Yes it is concidered a"semi-flat", as stated this doe's not fit in "Toy Soldier" area,Nothing in my research in toy soldier,flats,semi-flats,pod feet,no feet, etc. have i seen a comparison to this figure.Fred Reed wrote a great book on lincoln(not pictured)and mention's "small figures being made for election, anniversary, etc." I'm hopeing this is what it is..., :read2:,Thank you so so much for your input!!! HH ALL!!!
