thought this was interesting, looks like an old clorox bottle but it say "Rainbow"

bottles are not too old, but still nice, what id cool is the jar with lid, are there any other markings at all on the jar??? pat dates ne thing??? just might be worth 40 or so bucks. does the liquor bottle have the fed law prohibits? and one more thing there is this software called infranview, its great for resizing and editing photos. also its 100% free and safe to download. its the resizing software everyone from myspace uses. and if u need help using it i can help. you can get it here. http://www.irfanview.com/ either way get back to us about that jar ya????

maybe i shoulda looked at all of your pics before commenting. there is some older looking stuff in there, but the bottoms, like the one with M in keystone dates 30's to 40's. the cobalt might be alot older, did you check the seam? where does it end? i learned alot from these guys in here and now im stuck on bottles, i dnt even MD ne more, i think you'll have a blast exploring that dump you have, u never kno peeps might have used it for a long time, may have to probe around for some older ones......

will i get in trouble for posting these pics??????

thanks for the reply, where did you get that book!!!

its called the collector's guide to old fruit jars red book 9, red book 9 for short, by douglas m leybourne jr. its the most detailed and informitave fruit jar book out there, i wish someone would put some time into the world of bottles as these people did with this book. my wife got mine from ebay, for my bday. when it came the sellers gave a card, has www.collectorbookstore.com and phone 913-651-0600. so did you figure which jar you have there???
