Help picking out a metal detector?

Aloha, gonna give it a go I am a local born living on Maui and looking to buy a underwater metal detector I can use on the beach near shoreline. Any advice on where to shop and what detector is best for the price would be awesome, don't mind shopping online. I really don't want to spend more then $850.00. Mahalo
