Help ...please in identifying this rock found in North Carolina mountains

Was digging in western north Carolina mountains and uncovered this large rock. Weighs approx.20lbs. is about 12"in height and about an 7' depth. Don't know very much about rocks and minerals but am interested in learning more. Would like someone to help me identify this please

Looks like Jasper and Chalcedony
