Please would someone know the name or some information for this type vase, I know I read about it in some antique books. It is spiral, blown glass (has sharp bottom), height: 4 inches, top ring is: 2 inches in diameter.
Any information about this beauty would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hello again maylo,

How many spirals does it have? The sharp circle on the base is a pontil mark. The photos are a bit small, and I'm overdue for new glasses. What is your feel of the glass thickness, crudity, bubbles, wear, etc.?

I don't believe it is too old. Tough to tell without having it in hand. How'd you come by it?

Hello Surf,
Thank you very much for your reply again!
Heaving hard time counting the spirals, but I believe that it has 14.
It has some bubbles inside of the glass. It has some crudity in the glass. The glass is approx. I would say 3 to 5 millimeters tick. I bought it at the estate sale in New Smyrna Beach.
Thank you
