Found today. But not sure what it is, it looks like coper coated. U can open and close, hit hard +90 and 9 inches down. I would also like a time period 18 hundreds or 19 hundreds.

Ladies compact ? Ink pad ? Cigarette case ? What is the size ? No clue on age. They have been making similar ones for many many years.

Well its 4x4 size, there rust on it, was under 9 inches of dirt. Would u know if there should be a date or something under rust

Breezie is good with this stuff. Maybe she'll pop in. 4x4 could be a cigarette case but it could be other things as well. If it's rusting and had some copper plating showing it may have originally been Chrome plated. Copper is often used under Chrome as a base. Chrome rusts and flakes off leaving the Copper.

Oh ok, hope she gets on here to then, I thank you!! Hey one quick thing theres like a center peace to but scared to attempt to open may break because of rust. U see how that sits in that half
