✅ SOLVED Help to ID find from the beach

Many times when metal detecting I find the pieces to this thing that the arrows point to. I always thought they were part of a battery or something. Today I found the part they are attached to. Can anyone tell me what this thing is?

I think parts of it are lead and other parts steel? Someone said lead cell from a car battery. That make's sense as our beaches are loaded with cars filled with sand when they fixed the dunes after a hurricane in the 60s.

Battery plates - probably after a boat fire.
