Help to identify find

[CMJ76]

Hi, I found this metal detecting at a colonial site and not to sure what it exactly is. I believe it is a lead seal of some type. At first glance after I found it I thought I had a Spanish cob. Any help to identify it will be greatly appreciated.

Cardinally looks like a cobb except they weren't lead. Perhaps a counterfeit cobb?
